SIDE POSTURE POSITIONING
Gonstead pelvic bench is usually placed against a wall to ensure patient
safety and security.
The pillow may be positioned at either end of the table so that the patient may lie with his/her head at either end.

Patient is seated at approximately the middle of the table.
|Patient is instructed to crawl down onto the table and asked to lie near the front edge.|
|Patient is placed on the front 1/3 of the table with knees slightly bent.||
Pt. positioning for left listings
|Patient's upper hip and knee are flexed, positioning the top leg foot behind the lower leg knee.||
Upper hip flexed.
Upper knee bent.
