  • Side posture
  • Involved side up with knee bent
  • On posterior of shoulder
  • On anterior 1/3 of table
  • Pronate slightly more than for PI

to PSS
Doctor's Stance
  • Straddle patient’s bent knee
  • DC’s thigh to patient’s thigh at 45°
  • Weight on superior foot
  • Stabilize patient into the table
  • Back straight
  • Arms in L.O.C.
  • Superior hand stabilizes over clavicle
  • Lean into body drop
  • Episternal notch superior to contact point

  • Contact Point = #1, or heel of hand
  • Contact Hand = Inferior Hand
